Year Four! Let’s go!!!
Thank you for those who have supported us and our event for the last three years! It has been
amazing and we are so excited to work hard for another great event for another amazing nonprofit.
The outstanding nonprofit we want to introduce you to is Nebraska Diaper Bank! Formerly known as
The Lifehouse, they recently rebranded and are focused on ending diaper poverty not only in
Omaha, but across the state.
Nebraska Diaper Bank started in 2014 out of two churches who wanted to reach out into their
community beyond their doors. Executive Director Tegan identified a community need with diaper
poverty and helped build the outreach from day one. They are now the only diaper bank in Omaha
currently and the longest standing diaper bank in Nebraska.
They Said YES!
Nebraska Diaper Bank’s mission is to provide diapers through collaborative partnerships to change
lives & empower families in need. They provide 80,000 diapers a month to the community which
helps cover families since there are no federal aid programs helping to cover the cost of diapers. As
most of us are mothers, we know diapers are basic needs for families; as essential to their health
and well-being as shelter and clothing.
In the words of Nebraska Diaper Bank “A diaper is a basic need; as essential to a baby’s health and
well-being as shelter and clothing. Yet 1 in 3 families struggle to provide enough diapers for their
babies, and there are no federal safety net programs to help with the cost of diapers. Providing
diapers to families in need benefits our community in so many ways; it reduces medical bills, keeps
parents at work and in school, it reduces the stress that comes with not being able to provide. It’s
hope, protection, health, and a better home for each child.”
We are so happy to have Nebraska Diaper Bank accept our promposal and to raise funds for their

So the second part of this announcement—400 women will be able to dance for a great cause at
The Steppe Center! The new venue this year will provide more space for more women to join and
support! So bring those dresses, dance moves, and your fabulous selves for another amazing night
for a great cause!

Tickets will go on sale November 1st, 2022. A link will be emailed out prior. We are going to working hard
for raffles, silent auction, and sponsorships until then so look for another email closer to November!
