Our mission is to empower women in a fun, unique way and give back to the community at the same time. Never underestimate the power of a woman.
Our Story
Mom Prom got its start in Michigan in 2006 and made its way to Omaha for the first time in 2011. It’s a great way for ladies to get dressed up, dance, have fun and help support local nonprofits.

Ashley
Vice President
Ashley is mom to Phoenix , Brix , and Jax and has been married to Andrew for 6 years. She is the all star volunteer at her kids’ schools and helps her husband with his business. She loves to get out and meet new people in her free time.
Ashley was introduced to Omaha Mom Prom in 2021 through social media. She loved being able to socialize with friends while supporting a non-profit. She knew after the event she wanted to be a part of it.
Now, today since joining the board. She is excited to uplift women all across the Omaha Metro area while supporting local nonprofits!

Christy
Treasurer
Christy was born and raised in Omaha and loves her city! She is getting married this fall to her sweetie of 7 years. She’s a mom of an eleven year old son and soon to be bonus son.
By day she works in corporate America and by night spends her time helping mamas who are struggling with food insecurity, cheering at soccer games, and loving on her family. You can almost always catch her by the water.
Christy is so excited to be on the mom prom team! She is passionate about making a difference on a local level and can’t wait to share the word about this wonderful organization!

Melissa
Secretary
Melissa is a boy mom to 3 amazing little people- Leland, Logan and Lucas. She is married to Erik, who is retired from the Air Force. They have 3 dogs Kirby, Bailey and Rusty; as well as 2 Guinea pigs Evelyn and Delaney.

Jessica
Event Coordinator
Jessica is mom to Quinn (12) and Rowan (10) and Frazier (dog). She and Joe celebrated 14 years of marriage in May. She is a urogynecologist with Methodist Physician’s clinic. She loves caring for women and improving their quality of life.
Jessica attended Mom Prom in 2020 and 2021. She is very excited to be a part of the board. Women oftentimes devote much of themselves to support others. Mom Prom is the perfect event to have a great night out with the gals and still be making a major impact on the community. There is no limits to what women can accomplish!!
