The Event

Mom Prom is a catchy name but it is for women 21 and older! It is an event that shows the wonderful things women can do when working together dancing, having fun and raising money for a great cause! All proceeds go directly to Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands to raise funds for their mission by being committed to connecting those touched by Down syndrome through education, advocacy and support.

It is a Prom so have fun with a girls night out! Dress up, dress 80’s dress wedding, or rock that bridesmaid dress you paid $200 on. Be ready to move and groove as the night goes on!

Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands

The Non-Profit we are raising money for this year is Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands.  DSA is committed to connecting those touched by Down syndrome through education, advocacy and support.

Why Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands?

The Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Down syndrome through a comprehensive approach that encompasses education, advocacy, and support. Their initiatives span parent outreach programs, including newborn gifts and support groups; educational advocacy efforts, such as expert-led seminars and scholarship programs; and medical outreach activities, involving presentations to healthcare providers and the provision of resources for medical professionals and parents. These diverse efforts aim to create a supportive community, promote inclusion, raise awareness, and improve the overall quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. You can learn more about their goals and mission at their website here: DSA
